Isles- the upcoming album by independant musician Jeremy Green- aims to create a unique and timeless soundscape by blending together atmospheric orchestration akin to film soundtracks with guitar inspired by 1960s psychedelia and drums inspired by 1980s Genesis and world beats. As a whole, Isles aims to create a sweeping, enveloping and deeply profound listening experience, ranging from soaring highs to creeping lows. Lyrically, a sense of minimalism is being used to suggest thoughts on the place of Man in the universe while letting the music itself do most of the speaking. The thoughts that lead to Isles have been the products of years of pondering and failed attempts, and the goal is to finally bring these ideas to fruition. Isles is now being constructed and work is being poured into it daily. While there is no certain release date for the album yet, a spring 2013 release is the goal.
